How to Join

The Casper Children’s Chorale is an auditioned youth chorus based in Casper, Wyoming.  We are the home to two choirs, The Casper Children’s Chorale & Bel Canto that rehearse weekly (Tuesday and/or Thursdays nights). All singers entering grades 2-8 are welcome to audition . If accepted, they will be placed in a choir based on age and readiness. Though our choirs are tuition based, CCC offer’s tuition assistance in an effort to remove barriers for all families.

Open to singers entering 4th-8th grades

Meets every Tuesday from 4:30-6:00pm & 

once a month on Thursdays from 5:00-6:30pm

Yearly Tuition: $400

Bel Canto

Open to singers entering 2nd-5th grades

Meets every Tuesday from 4:45-5:45 pm

Yearly Tuition: $170

How to Sign Up for Auditions

Audition Groups

  • Bel Canto (Grades 2-5): Open to singers entering 2nd-5th grade for the 2025-2026 school year.

  • Children’s Chorale (Grades 4-8): Open to singers entering 4th-8th grade for the 2025-2026 school year.

Important: Please try to sign up with singers of a similar age to ensure a more comfortable audition experience.

Audition Details

  • LOCATION: Highland Park Community Church, 5725 Highland Dr. Casper, Wy 82609

  • Children will audition in groups of four, with individual opportunities to demonstrate pitch, rhythm, and interest.

  • Be prepared to sing verse one of “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee” in the key of F.

  • When signing up, be sure to note what grade your child will be entering.

What to Expect

  1. A parent must stay during the audition. While your child auditions, you will receive information on chorale costs and expectations and fill out an information sheet.

  2. Try to sign up with similar-aged peers. Check who has already signed up for a time slot before selecting yours.

  3. Consider whether signing up with a friend is helpful for your child. Some children gain confidence, while others may get giggly and distracted. Choose what works best!

  4. Bring a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the audition.

  6. If accepted, first-year singers (in at least 4th grade) are encouraged to sign-up for our Sing a Song Summer Camp.  Though not required, this opportunity will help set new singers up for success as they begin Chorale/Bel Canto in the fall.

  7. Tuition assistance is available.  If your child wants to sing, please do not let cost hold them back.  We are blessed with generous donors and grants that help to support our young musicians.  Singing is a fantastic musical and life-changing experience, but parents will also need to commit to getting children to rehearsals each week.  Attendance is crucial.
