About Us

Founded by Marcia Patton, the Casper Children’s Chorale has offered choral experiences for young singers in grades four through eight since 1979. Here, kids explore diverse languages, musical styles, movement, and world rhythms, building performance skills and a strong musical foundation that develops the mind, builds character, and opens up the world.

The Chorale has toured across Wyoming and cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and Vancouver, BC, sharing their love of music and pride in Wyoming. Highlights include performing at the Wyoming Music Educators Convention and winning multiple awards at the Texas Heritage Music Festival in 2019. They were also selected to perform at the Northwest American Choral Directors Conference in 2020 and opened the National Conference of ACDA virtually in 2021. Most recently, in April 2024, they performed in the Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall.

Casper Children’s Chorale Inclusivity Statement
The Casper Children’s Chorale operates under the belief that communities are enriched when people with different backgrounds and perspectives are active in decision-making processes. CCC seeks to promote access and inclusivity and opposes discrimination based on race, creed, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status and other factors that deny the essential humanity of all Natrona County youth.
